  • Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals: fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress, that annually provides 75 American students and young professionals the opportunity to spend one year in Germany, studying, interning, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program. Previous study of the German language is not required. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-24.
  • Independent Work Abroad in Germany: Paid practical experience for up to 18 months for degree holders in a business, engineering, agricultural or technical field, under 30 years of age. CDS provides the work permit once the participant has located a job position. Participant should have 1 year practical work experience, 2 years University level German, Applications submitted at least 5 weeks before departure. Application fee.
  • Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Fellowship for Americans with graduate or professional degrees. Grants include round-trip transportation, monthly stipend, limited health insurance, possible financial support for accompanying spouse. Participants should be proficient in German upon start of the program. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Early application deadline in the beginning of October (approx. 1 year before departure)
