Peace Corps Recruiter: Allison served in Tanzania from 2013-2016. During her first two years, she served as a Secondary Education volunteer, teaching English, Math, and Physics to high school students. As an Education volunteer, she also organized and participated in youth conferences focused on girl’s empowerment, STEM education, and HIV/AIDS and malaria prevention. Additionally, she assisted her school and village community in completing a project to develop a library at the secondary school. For her third year of service, Allison served as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader (PCVL) in the Programming and Training Unit. As a PCVL she assisted in designing and implementing Pre-Service Trainings, Early Service Trainings, and Grassroot Soccer Trainings for Peace Corps Tanzania trainees and volunteers. Allison is currently a student at the University of Michigan Law School and is hoping to pursue a career in public defense.
