F/J Visa Appointments Resume with Expanded Screening

The Department of State has announced that scheduling of F and J visa application appointments will resume soon. Applicants should check the relevant embassy or consulate website for appointment availability.

The announcement also instructs applicants for F and J visas to adjust the privacy settings on all of their social media profiles to “public”, since “online presence” will now be evaluated during the visa application process.
