The staff of the International Center would like to express our sympathy and concern for U-M international students, scholars, and employees affected by the recent earthquake in the Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Our thoughts are with you, your families, and friends.
We would also like to remind students that Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to help you find support during this stressful time. Support for U-M employees is available from the Faculty and Staff Counseling and Consultation Office (FASCCO) or for Michigan Medicine employees, from the Michigan Medicine Office of Counseling and Workplace Resilience.
If you have been directly affected by this recent event and need assistance from the University, please contact the International Center at [email protected] or (734) 764-9310. The Dean of Students Office is also available to individually support students and help manage any disruptions to their Michigan experience.
With care,
International Center
