The International Center would like to express our concern for those who have been impacted by the recent events in the Middle East, or are facing uncertainty as a result of them, and remind the U-M international community of the following support resources:
- International Center (IC)
The IC is here to answer immigration-related questions you may have. International students and scholars can contact International Student/Scholar Services. International faculty and staff can contact Faculty and Staff Immigrations Services (FSIS). - International Center International Student Advocate
The IC International Student Advocate assists international students in navigating campus resources that support health and well-being. If you need individual support, you can make an appointment with our Advocate. - Dean of Students Office Student Support
The Dean of Students Office (DOS) provides direct support to students or student groups experiencing situations impacting their Michigan experience, identifies available resources, and coordinates the appropriate response. You can email the DOS at [email protected], call DOS at 734-764-7420, or walk in to the DOS office (3rd Floor, Michigan Union) Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. - UHC CAPS counselor on duty and after-hours urgent counseling
Counselor advice for mental health concerns is available at no cost 24/7 at 734-764-8312. Counselors are available in person (4th Floor, Michigan Union) for urgent matters from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. - Support for U-M employees is available from the Faculty and Staff Counseling and Consultation Office (FASCCO) or, for Michigan Medicine employees, from the Michigan Medicine Office of Counseling and Workplace Resilience
