Join us for a casual meet and greet with recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Wendy Scott Keeney! Wendy retired from a 40 year career in Business Development and Philanthropy to join the Peace Corps in 2023. She has lived and worked internationally and is passionate about being a global citizen working on behalf of women and youth in workforce development. Wendy served in the Health Sector during her service in South Africa from 2023 to 2025. She worked at a women's shelter while recruiting and training youth to be facilitators in the Stepping Stones program. This evidence-based curriculum funded by PEPFAR teaches high school students to make healthy choices on sexual activity, pregnancy and HIV-AIDS prevention, testing and treatment. In her personal life, Wendy is a proud mum, grandmother and has too many hobbies and interests to list!
