The University of Michigan International Center advises students on a wide-range of study abroad options. First and foremost, we recommend exploring University of Michigan-sponsored study abroad programs, which can be found in the M-Compass database (we recommend utilizing the “Keyword Search” functionality in order to get the most accurate search results). If you’re unable to find a program that fits your needs for any reason, the International Center is here to help you explore reputable external program options (so-called “non-UM” programs), and think through important considerations for studying abroad on a non-UM program.
