This program offers an opportunity to learn about a country’s culture and history through a brief presentation by community members with personal connections to that country. Afterward, continue the conversation, meet new people, and enjoy light refreshments together.

Join the Arts Initiative and the International Center for a trip to Detroit's Eastern Market! Experience a 150-year-old Detroit tradition featuring hundreds of open-air flower & produce stalls, over 100 murals, historic brick architecture, and iconic neighborhood food spots.
This trip includes transportation to and from Detroit.

To compliment our Peer-to-Peer Conversation (P2P Conversation) workshops, we will be hosting a series of live question & answer (Q&A) sessions! These will have an office-hours format, so feel free to drop in for a few minutes or stay for the full hour!

The Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) is just blocks from the University of Michigan and hosts some amazing events and resources!
Meet at CEW+ for an introduction to the Center and lunch, then we'll walk over together for a tour of the library and library card sign-ups. Once you register for the event, we'll send you additional information about what to bring with you. Family members are encouraged to attend!
Join us as we celebrate international students and scholars with birthdays in May! We'll enjoy cake, coffee, and tea, and we encourage you to bring your friends together to celebrate your birthday! Meet us at the Student Activities Building courtyard located at 515 E Jefferson Street in Ann Arbor. In case of inclement weather, we will meet indoors in the atrium in the same building. Please register in advance so we can plan how much food to order.

60 Minutes Around the Globe is a program series hosted by the International House Ann Arbor (IHAA) and the International Center where members of the international community share a brief presentation about the culture and history of their home country. The presentation is followed by a time for discussion and enjoying light refreshments.
The International Center Student Council, in collaboration with the Saudi Students Association, is excited to host an Eid al-Fitr dinner for the U-M community. This event is open to all students, scholars and their family members.
Exciting features of the event will also include a selfie-station, games, and children's prizes/activities! SSA members will also prepare authentic Saudi coffee!
Dinner will be provided, so please RSVP. This will ensure we have enough food/drink!
