60 Minutes Around the Globe is a program series hosted by the International House Ann Arbor (IHAA) and the International Center where members of the international community share a brief presentation about the culture and history of their home country. The presentation is followed by a time for discussion and enjoying light refreshments. Join us on Friday, October 3 at 3:00 PM as we learn about the culture and history of Indonesia at the International House Ann Arbor (921 Church Street).

International Coffee Hour is a great opportunity to meet new people from around the world! The event is open to all members of the U-M community, including international and U.S. students, scholars, faculty, staff and their partners.

Join us for a meet and greet with returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Ruby Moss!

This session will cover considerations for studying abroad through a non-UM (external) program, including:

• How to find reputable programs
• How funding applies to non-UM programs
• What you need to know about transferring non-UM credits back to Michigan and more!

Presented by the International Center, LSA Newnan Academic Advising Center, and the Office of Financial Aid.

Come play a pick-up soccer game with the IC! This game will be played at Hubbard Road Recreation Field on North Campus. All are welcome!

This will be a very casual game and is meant for meeting other international students and scholars. We recommend bringing athletic clothing, cleats/gym shoes, and a water bottle (Hubbard Field does not have a drinking fountain).

Celebrate December birthdays with fellow U-M international students and scholars! Enjoy cake, coffee, and tea, and feel free to bring friends and family members to join the celebration.

We’ll gather at International House Ann Arbor (IHAA), 921 Church Street. Please register in advance so we can order enough refreshments for everyone.

Co-sponsored by the U-M International Center and International House Ann Arbor.
