International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)

John has been an International Student & Scholar Advisor at the University of Michigan since 2011. John studied abroad in England during both high school and graduate school, and lived in London for the first half of 2023. He entered the field of international education after pursuing related coursework and practical training while completing a MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs at The Ohio State University. John also held a variety of student affairs positions during his undergraduate years at Middlebury College.

Scott joined the University of Michigan in 2007, and currently serves as Associate Director for International Student and Scholar Services in the International Center.  

Scott has more than 15 years of higher education experience in International Education and Student Affairs.  He is an active member and leader in NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
