Join us for a casual meet and greet with recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Sevi Fua! Sevi is a second-year Master of Social Work candidate in the Interpersonal and Global Social Work Practice pathways at the University of Michigan's School of Social Work. Before studying at Michigan, he served as a Community Health Educator Volunteer in Togo from 2024 to 2026. His Peace Corps service strengthened his passion for mental health support and cultural humility, shaping his interest in community-driven mental health programming.

This month’s meetup will be for the Introductory Woodcarving at the Ann Arbor District Library, where you will learn how to carve two different alligators!
Come play a pick-up soccer game with the IC! This game will be played at Hubbard Road Recreation Field on North Campus. All are welcome!
This will be a very casual game and is meant for meeting other international students and scholars. We recommend bringing athletic clothing, cleats/gym shoes, and a water bottle (Hubbard Field does not have a drinking fountain).

Meet at CEW+ for an introduction to the Center and lunch, then we'll walk over together for a tour of the library and library card sign-ups. Once you register for the event, we'll send you additional information about what to bring with you. Family members are encouraged to attend!
