Somerset Mall Shopping Trip

Somerset Collection is a shopping mall of more than 180 retailers. It also features a food court on the third level.

Cost

$9/person for round trip transportation. NO REFUNDS. You will need to bring money for shopping and food. Students, scholars, and family members are welcome. Same price for all, regardless of age (children 2 and under are free, provided they sit on a lap and do not take up a seat on the bus). All children must be accompanied by an adult.

February Birthday Celebration

Join us as we celebrate international students and scholars with birthdays in February! We'll enjoy cake, coffee, and tea, and we encourage you to bring your friends together to celebrate your birthday! Meet us at the International House Ann Arbor (IHAA) located at 921 Church Street in Ann Arbor. Please register in advance so we can plan how much food to order.

U.S. Tax Withholding Forms: Open Question and Answer Session for International Students

Are you an international student preparing to work at U-M or do you receive a fellowship that covers living expenses (not just tuition)? Before you start, you'll need to complete several tax forms, such as the IRS Form W-4, State of Michigan Form W-4, the Alien Certificate, and potentially additional forms if your country has a tax treaty with the U.S.

Cider Mill Trip

Join the International Center for a day of fall fun at Plymouth Orchards and Cider Mill! With apple cider and donuts, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and local music, you will get the chance to celebrate and enjoy classic Michigan fall activities.

Transportation will be covered by the International Center, but you are responsible for paying for food/activities at the cider mill. Entrance into the cider mill is free.

Registration will open on Sunday, October 19 at 12 PM.

Take a Nature Break: A Guided Walk through Nichols Arboretum

Join the International Center and the Planet Blue Ambassador program to explore Nichols Arboretum and connect with nature right on campus! We will walk the trails, talk about how to experience wellness through spending time in nature, make trail mix, and see what plant and animal wildlife we can spot right in Ann Arbor. This program will have a nut-free trail mix.
