Kelly re-joined the International Center staff in August 2017 after having previously worked as the Education Abroad Coordinator in the International Center from 2008 to 2014. After leaving Ann Arbor in 2014, Kelly worked for the Institute of International Education (IIE) through which she worked closely with international students from Saudi Arabia studying in the United States. Kelly is thrilled to be returning to the University of Michigan in a role that will allow her to combine her interests in education abroad with supporting international students.
Kelly holds a B.A. in Psychology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and an MSW from the University of Michigan. As an undergraduate student, Kelly spent one academic year studying abroad in Freiburg, Germany. Prior to graduate school, Kelly returned to Germany through the Fulbright U.S.Student Program through which she taught English and American Studies in Aalen, Baden-Württemberg.
