Peace Corps Recruiter: Adriane served as a Community Health Empowerment volunteer from 2014-2016 in Fiji. During service, Adriane taught life skills and healthy living courses to students at a primary school, conducted outreach programs with the local nursing staff, and facilitated professional development sessions with educators. In partnership with the community, she completed a USAID Small Project Assistance grant to increase access to clean drinking water. While serving as a Peace Corps volunteer, Adriane acted as a Peer Support Network (PSN) volunteer which involved mentoring fellow volunteers. Presently, Adriane is a graduate student at the School of Public Health within the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education; her studies focus on reproductive and global health issues.
