An Emmy award winning documentary was also created to highlight the student advocacy that started at the University of Michigan, which ultimately led to the founding of the Peace Corps. The documentary, “A Passing of the Torch,” can be viewed here.

Throughout this week, the Global Michigan Twitter account will be featuring quotes and photos from the U-M RPCV community in celebration of the 60th anniversary. Follow along @GlobalMichigan.

A larger celebration of the 60th anniversary is being planned for March 2021.
