Becoming a U.S. Citizen: Naturalization Information

Description: This presentation is designed for U.S. permanent residents (green card holders) who would like to learn about procedures for becoming U.S. citizens. An attorney from the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center will provide an overview of the US naturalization process as well as important factors to consider when deciding whether or not to pursue naturalization. The attorney will also be able to address common concerns and individual questions.

The Wellness Fair will feature Nico the DPSS therapy dog, international cuisine, as well as several departments and student organizations who will be tabling!

H-1B Basics

The workshop will cover regulatory foundations of H-1B status and the procedural steps for filing an H-1B petition, including use of the INSZoom platform used by FSIS.
