Description: American football is a very popular sport in the U.S. U-M has one of the oldest football programs in the country and is home to Michigan Stadium (nicknamed “The Big House”). Many college students like to spend Saturdays watching college football, and attending on-campus sporting events is one way to show school spirit. Last season, Michigan Football won the National Championship, so school spirit will be at an all-time high this Fall!

During this event, you will learn some basic rules about American football, learn about American football culture, and watch clips from the previous week’s U-M football game to prepare for the massive Michigan vs. Texas game on September 7. Lunch will be provided!
