Description: Visit the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) for a fun afternoon of indoor activities. Drop in between 3:30-5:00 PM to connect with other families as you explore sculptures and build your own creations. UMMA volunteers will facilitate conversations about the art and guide you through the space.
Note: A photographer will be present. Please indicate during registration if you choose to not be photographed.
MUSEUM GUIDELINES and OFFERINGS
- To protect the art, please keep food and drink in the cafe area and not in the galleries
- Nursing and diaper changing areas available
- Strollers welcome
- All galleries are accessible by elevator
- Sensory kits available: including headphones, timers, fidgets
- It’s natural to want to learn about art by touching it, but please keep hands in pockets or holding a favorite toy
