Great Lakes Crossing Outlets Shopping Trip

Location: Auburn Hill, Michigan

Cost: $20/person for round trip transportation. NO REFUNDS. You will need to bring money for food and shopping. Students, scholars, friends, and families are welcome. Same price for all, regardless of age (including infants). Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration: In order to reserve your spot for this trip, you must visit and pay in advance at the Michigan Union Ticket Office (MUTO). Ask for the International Center’s shopping trip. Cash or credit cards accepted.  It is not possible to purchase tickets online. When purchasing the tickets, you must present a valid UMID and provide a phone number (in case of emergency during the trip). 

Meeting location and time: Participants may choose to board the bus from either Central Campus or North Campus at one of the locations designated below. Upon our return, participants may choose to be dropped off at Central or North Campus locations.

Central Campus: outside the International Center (Student Activities Building) on Jefferson Street 9:30am
North Campus: outside the Pierpont Commons on Murfin Avenue 9:50am

**Please Note: The bus will depart the North Campus location at 10:00am for the Outlets. 

Event Description: Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is the market’s dominant retail outlet and entertainment destination, attracting people throughout the Midwest and Canada. There are over 185 manufacturer’s outlets and traditional retail stores. The enclosed shopping center is home to Michigan’s largest food court (1,000 seats). Everyone will receive “Passport to Shopping” which offers great discounts on name-brand merchandise, fabulous food and entertainment at certain stores and restaurants.
