International Student Lunch Conversation (ISLC) is a casual time and space for international students to connect with each other and talk about life as an international student in the U.S. and at U-M.
July’s ISLC will take place at the Shapiro Library’s Shapiro Gallery (Room 3160) from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided!
Come play a pick-up soccer game with the IC! July’s game will be played at Mitchell Field.
This will be a very casual game and is meant for meeting other international students and scholars. We recommend bringing athletic clothing, cleats/gym shoes, and a water bottle.
Mitchell Field is most easily accessed via Michigan bus (several routes stop at the field building). Parking is also available.

This will be a very casual game and is meant for meeting other international students and scholars. We recommend bringing athletic clothing, cleats/gym shoes, and a water bottle (Hubbard Field does not have a drinking fountain).
Join us for International Coffee Hour, an opportunity to connect with people from all corners of the globe! Open to the entire University of Michigan community - including international and U.S. students, scholars, faculty, staff, and their partners.
In celebration of summer, our June event will feature an ice cream bar!
The International Center will host our annual International Student and Family Welcome Day on Monday, August 24, 2026. Attendance at this event is strongly encouraged for both undergraduate and graduate international students, along with their family members who travel with them to campus. Topics will include overviews about cultural adjustment, maintaining immigration status, using your health insurance, and more! This is also an excellent opportunity to meet other new international students!

Meet us at the Student Activities Building courtyard located at 515 E Jefferson Street in Ann Arbor. In case of inclement weather, we will meet indoors in the atrium in the same building. Please register in advance so we can plan how much food to order.
