The Monthly International Student Impact Circle is an intimate gathering for international students across the University of Michigan to connect, reflect, and share experiences related to campus climate and life at U-M. This space is designed to support meaningful conversation around the changes and challenges that may be affecting international students.
Through facilitated dialogue, the series aims to build community, offer mutual support, and create room for reflection, processing, and healing.
Join the International Center on a day trip to Detroit! We will begin the day with a walking tour of Downtown Detroit, where we will learn about the history of the city and see some of its most famous landmarks. We will then have a few hours of free time to grab lunch and explore the city. You are welcome to go shopping, go to a museum, or just walk around the city -- whatever you prefer!
This trip includes transportation to and from Detroit and the Downtown walking tour.

Students are encouraged to come "dressed to impress" in black-tie formal attire, but cultural formal attire is also encouraged!

Are you interested in working in the United Kingdom (UK) after graduation? Recent graduates from U-M are eligible to work in the UK for up to two years (three years for graduates with a PhD) on a High Potential Individual (HPI) visa. Only a select number of universities around the world are eligible for the HPI visa, so this is a very unique opportunity for U-M grads!
Do you plan to work in the United States after finishing your degree? This program is designed to help international students maximize their chances of finding employment in the U.S. We'll discuss how to put together an effective job search, provide an overview of immigration regulations pertinent to international students, and highlight some of the many resources and services available in the University Career Center.
