U.S. Tax Withholding Forms: Open Question and Answer Session for International Students

Are you an international student preparing to work at U-M or do you receive a fellowship that covers living expenses (not just tuition)? Before you start, you'll need to complete several tax forms, such as the IRS Form W-4, State of Michigan Form W-4, the Alien Certificate, and potentially additional forms if your country has a tax treaty with the U.S.

CIEE Info Session

Eric Schueller from CIEE will be on campus to give an info session to U-M students interested in studying or interning abroad through CIEE this summer (or in the future).

CIEE is a third-party education abroad provider that offers study and internship abroad programs in locations all over the world. Each year, a number of U-M students study and/or intern through CIEE, both through UM-approved programs and through "non-UM" (independent) programs.
