Culture Chat workshops discuss cultural norms and events in the United States! Refreshments will be made available, and you can speak with fellow international (and potentially some U.S. students!) about each topic.
International Student Lunch Conversation (ISLC) is a casual time and space for international students to connect with each other and talk about life as an international student in the U.S. and at U-M.
October’s ISLC will take place at the Hatcher Graduate Library’s Gallery Event Space from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided!
Join the International Center for a day of fall fun at Plymouth Orchards and Cider Mill! With apple cider and donuts, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and local music, you will get the chance to celebrate and enjoy classic Michigan fall activities.
Transportation will be covered by the International Center, but you are responsible for paying for food/activities at the cider mill. Entrance into the cider mill is free.
Registration will open on Sunday, October 18 at 12 PM.
Join the Planet Blue Ambassador program and the International Center to explore Nichols Arboretum and connect with nature right on campus. We will walk the trails, talk about how to experience wellness through spending time in nature, enjoy trail mix, and discover what plant/animal wildlife we can spot right in Ann Arbor. Make new friends with fellow international students and discover the beauty of the outdoors!
Come play a pick-up soccer game with the IC! This game will be played at Hubbard Road Recreation Field on North Campus. All are welcome!
This will be a very casual game and is meant for meeting other international students and scholars. We recommend bringing athletic clothing, cleats/gym shoes, and a water bottle (Hubbard Field does not have a drinking fountain).
