60 Minutes Around the Globe is a program series hosted by the International House Ann Arbor (IHAA) and the International Center where members of the international community share a brief presentation about the culture and history of their home country. The presentation is followed by a time for discussion and enjoying light refreshments. Join us on Friday, October 3 at 3:00 PM as we learn about the culture and history of Indonesia at the International House Ann Arbor (921 Church Street).

International Coffee Hour is a great opportunity to meet new people from around the world! The event is open to all members of the U-M community, including international and U.S. students, scholars, faculty, staff and their partners.

Culture Chat workshops discuss cultural norms and events in the United States! Refreshments will be made available, and you can speak with fellow international (and potentially some U.S. students!) about each topic.

Are you wondering if you’re still on track to complete the certificate program before graduation? If so, our certificate requirement refresher could be of help to you! We will make sure you get your questions answered so that you will be ready to complete the certificate this semester. Boxed lunches from Panera will be provided! We recommended bringing your laptop to follow along.

Come play a pick-up soccer game with the IC! This game will be played at Hubbard Road Recreation Field on North Campus. All are welcome!

This will be a very casual game and is meant for meeting other international students and scholars. We recommend bringing athletic clothing, cleats/gym shoes, and a water bottle (Hubbard Field does not have a drinking fountain).

Whether you're interested in preventive care or more specialized treatment, this session will walk you through all the opportunities for receiving high-quality dental services here on campus.

This presentation will provide detailed information on how to use the University's required health insurance for international students and scholars (the International Student/Scholar Health Insurance Plan). You will learn how and where to obtain medical treatment if needed, and how understanding your health insurance can help you avoid unnecessary expenses. Lunch will be provided.
