U-M’s annual day of giving, Giving Blueday, is THIS Wednesday, March 19! Join friends, alumni, and colleagues around the world in supporting what they love most about the university. We invite you to partner with us at the International Center in cultivating a welcoming and supportive community for international students and in promoting global citizenship on campus by giving to one of the International Center’s funds. Whatever you donate is a charitable gift to the International Center that creates a lasting impact for students and our campus community. An investment of even $5 or $10 makes a difference!
Learn how our work at the International Center has impacted international students:
International Center Gifts: The International Center has been providing critical resources for International Students at the university for over 80 years, fostering a global campus community and supporting students along their journey. We offer international students a range of workshops and activities to assist them with their acclimation to studying in the U.S., living in Ann Arbor, taking care of basic needs, and understanding their immigration status. The IC also assists students who are considering studying, working, or traveling abroad with awards and scholarships, resources, and informative engaging events.
International Student Emergency Fund: The International Student Emergency Fund provides financial support for unusual and unforeseen emergency expenses. This has been a crucial support for students who have faced a wide range of challenges, particularly over the last several years. From Fall 2021 through Fall 2024, this fund was awarded 110 students in need, and the majority of International Center Emergency Grants are funded by donors!
