U-M Peace Corps Office Advisor
Stephen Black joins the International Center as the new Peace Corps Campus Recruiter, while continuing his work as a Swahili interpreter in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area. He served as an Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Tanzania and has since worked as an engineer and project manager in a variety of capacities and industries including international non-profit, aviation, glass, and medical devices. He is thrilled to be working with U-M students who are interested in serving with the Peace Corps!
Peace Corps Prep Certificate Program
If you are an undergraduate student who is considering applying for the Peace Corps in the future, we recommend considering the Peace Corps Prep certificate program. Peace Corps Prep at the University of Michigan will prepare you for international development fieldwork and potential Peace Corps service. To accomplish this, you’ll build four core competencies through interrelated coursework, hands-on experience, and professional development support. To find out more:
