We hope that graduating international students will join us for a reception in the South Lounge of the Michigan Union (first floor, across from Sweetwater’s) to enjoy a few treats and pick up a graduation cord!
Description: International Center staff will provide an overview of the process of preparing to file your post-completion OPT application with USCIS including tips on how to avoid common issues. We'll also share information on maintaining F-1 status during pending and approved OPT. OPT topics related to travel, troubleshooting, OPT reporting, health insurance, and abandoning F-1 OPT will be discussed. This workshop is intended for students that have already completed the OPT Online Workshop and are preparing to mail the OPT application to USCIS.

We’ll enjoy cake, coffee, and tea, and we encourage you to bring your friends together to celebrate your birthday! Meet us at the International House Ann Arbor (IHAA) located at 921 Church Street in Ann Arbor. Please register in advance so we can plan how much food to order.

Description: Please join the IC for the 2024 International Wellness Fair! The event is in the Student Activities Building Lobby, and it is open to all students, scholars, faculty and staff. We will have groups from all over campus tabling and sharing wellness resources, as well food, crafting, therapy dogs, and other wellness activities!
Description: Kick off this semester's Lunch & Learn series to learn more about Martin Luther King Jr. and the history of the Civil Rights Movement in the USA. We also encourage international students and scholars to engage in the MLK Symposium and other campus events to help celebrate this holiday. Lunch will be provided.

Description: This is an invitation-only event for international students who will graduate in December, 2019. It is intended to celebrate your achievement and contribution to the University of Michigan with International Center staff, your peer international graduating students, and families/friends.
