Resources for Parents & Family Members of U-M International Students

To assist parents and family members of newly admitted international students at the University of Michigan, the International Center has developed a resource guide currently available in Korean, Chinese, and English. This guide is designed to provide family members a broad overview of key resources and pertinent information related to their student’s experience on campus. Click on the links below to access the guide in your preferred language.

For additional resources and information for family members of U-M international students, view the U-M Parents & Families website. You can also stay up to date with news and information for family members of U-M students by registering for the Division of Student Life Family Matters Newsletter. (Please note that both the website and newsletter are in English, however, a translation application is recommended as needed).

Lastly, Dr. Martino Harmon, Vice President for Student Life at the University of Michigan, has created a welcome video for all parents and families of incoming students. You may view it below.
